Robot Framework
The Robot Framework is a abstraction layer in Node.js which can be used to easily scrape content from the web in such way that the amount of information to be retrieved from the web is maximized, the configuration is as easy as possible and the software operates ‘nice’ to website owners.
The release (zip file) contains all the Node.js code needed to run the software and a folder with some documentation. Some of the research underlying some parts of this Robot Framework was partly subsidized by Eurostat. All the software on this page is provided without any guarantees and “as is” under the EUPL.
Other National or International statistical organisations are invited to experiment and use it. Feedback is appreciated at obos@cbs.nl
