StatMine

StatMine is a project that aims to improve usage and usability of the current statistical output of Statistics Netherlands (and official statistics in general).

Our applied research tests ideas with software prototypes on real users.

StatMiner

One prototype StatMiner aims to add an analytic layer on top of the Statistics Output data base. This helps to

• improve understanding of (structure of) data
• find unknown patterns in the data
• detect outlying or different figures
• show uncertainty in the data.
